Years ago, prior to establishing the company, my passion for automobiles led me to explore and purchase cars in America. This experience ignited my interest in venturing into new and unfamiliar markets.

AIG initially began as a transportation company equipped with the resources to facilitate shipping from any location worldwide to our customers' desired destinations.

However, in 2017, our strategic direction took a transformative turn with the exploration and immersion into the Korean automotive market.

This pivotal shift opened unprecedented opportunities for us to introduce the Korean car market to Georgian customers, shaping the trajectory of AIG.

Georgian-Korean Cooperation

The company Auto Import Georgia was established in 2017.

Since 2017, we have been collaborating with one of the largest Korean companies, Autowini.com.

Throughout 2017-18, we experienced a substantial increase in the number of cars imported from Korea to the Georgian market.

Fortunately, our determination, hard work, and efforts paid off, and by 2018, we had already become the official representatives of Autowini in Georgia.

Our History

Visit of Korean Partners to Georgia

On June 5-6, Auto Import Georgia had the privilege of hosting representatives from Autowini as part of our ongoing partnership.

Among the esteemed guests was Jiun Han, CEO, and founder of Autowini.

During their visit, we were honored to officially inaugurate the AIG head office in Tbilisi, located at 123/125 Tsotne Dadiani St.

This marked a significant milestone in our collaboration and underscored our commitment to providing exceptional service and support to our clients and partners.

Georgian Delegation in South Korea

In 2019, Auto Import Georgia received an official invitation from Autowini representatives for a planned visit to Korea. The visit was attended by official representatives of Autowini from around the world, including our delegation from Georgia.

This visit provided us with valuable insights into Autowini's operations, strengthened our partnership, and fostered collaboration opportunities between our companies.

Growth and Success

AIG has achieved remarkable growth and success in the Georgian market. We have substantially increased the sales share of cars imported from Korea, establishing ourselves as a leading importer in the region.

In early 2023, our dedication and hard work were recognized when Auto Import Georgia was named the best representative of the month by Autowini worldwide. Our success can be attributed to our team of reliable, time-tested, and professional personnel.

Since February 2024, AIG has proudly been a member of the German Economic Union (DWV).
